What are the advantages of an online account?

More security: your data is securely encrypted with the chosen password. Only you can see them.

Memorization of addresses: All your selected shipping and billing addresses are memorized as soon as you place an order using them or add them to your account. Therefore, you do not have to fill in these details again when placing a new order.

Overview of your orders: You can view the status of each of your orders and all invoices at any time in your profile.

Changing your data: You can change or update your personal data and addresses yourself in your profile at any time.

Do I need an online account to place an order?

No, you don't need to register to place an order. You can easily order without creating an account.

Simply put all the items you want in your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout. Fill in the required data such as name, address and e-mail address and tick ,,Do not create a customer account".

How can I change my e-mail address?

In your profile you can update and change your e-mail address yourself at any time. To do this, simply click on the small figure at the top right of our online shop and then on ,,Your profile".

We will send order and payment confirmations to the e-mail address specified there. In addition, you can always log into your online account with this address.

I have forgotten my password - What can I do?

If you forgot the password for your customer account, there is a simple and quick solution:

1. Click on ,,I have forgotten my password", when trying to register.

2. Enter the e-mail address you are registered with. 

3. Reset your password using the e-mail you just received.

How can I pay?

The following payment methods are available to you when completing the order:

Credit card, PayPal (+Express), Klarna, AmazonPay, ApplePay, Immediate transfer, Cash in advance and also purchase on invoice.

Important terms and abbreviations in model sports

Due to the many different definitions of the kit designs from our manufacturers, we tried to establish a uniform system. This description does not necessarily correspond to the definitions on the manufacturer's page, as often different approaches are used.

Mode 1 to Mode 4:

Remote controls are delivered in different modes. Mostly these can also be changed. The most popular mode is Mode 2, because here the throttle is on the left stick and controlled with right hand. There are a total of 4 different, common versions. The throttle or engine speed function is controlled by a non-self-neutralizing stick.

The operation of electric scooters, bikes, hoverboards or skateboards is regulated differently in each country. Each user himself is obliged to comply with the respective regulations and laws.

Please inform yourself in advance about the official and mandatory requirements in the respective country before each commissioning. There is no guarantee for all information. Errors and omissions excepted.

1) Legal situation in Austria:

a) E-Scooter: Up to a design speed of 25km/h, they are considered electric bicycles and may be used on the road and on bicycle paths by anyone with a bicycle license or over the age of 12. At a design speed of over 25km/h, e-scooters are subject to the same legal regulations as mopeds - These may then only be used on private property.

b) E-Skateboards and Hoverboards: The operation on the roadway is prohibited. There is a risk that the devices "take on a life of their own" and cause damage or injury if the rider jumps off or falls. Therefore, their use on sidewalks is also considered inadmissible. It is allowed to use them in residential and play streets.

2) Legal situation Germany:

a) E-Scooter: Currently, they may only be used on private property, as they do not have a road permit. Failure to comply can be punished. However, this does not apply to e-scooters with a number plate. Please note the technical requirements in Germany (= number plate holder, front and rear brake, light and brake light, two exterior mirrors, bell or horn).

b) E-Skateboards and Hoverboards: The same applies here as with the e-scooters.

3) Other countries:

Please make your own efforts to obtain the valid legal situation in the respective country.

What does Modellsport Schweighofer do for our environment?

Of course, we also do our best to be environmentally friendly.

One step in the right direction is that we don't waste unnecessary paper and don't send you the invoice again upon delivery. You will always receive it by e-mail. If necessary, you can of course print the invoice out.

Most of our processes have also been reduced to the minimum, and much will continue to happen in the future to make us even more environmentally friendly.

How can I delete my customer account?

To delete your customer account permanently, please contact us via info@der-schweighofer.at with the following data: E-Mail address + full name!

What happens after I place an order?

Immediately after placing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. In this mail you will find all the important information of your order, as well as instructions for delivery or acceptance and return.

Please read this mail carefully to familiarize yourself with your rights in case of any complaints.

How long is my voucher valid?

Vouchers are differentiated between purchased value vouchers and promotional vouchers.

Our value vouchers can be redeemed at any time and are not subject to any conditions. They can be redeemed online as well as in stationary stores. A combination is also possible.

Promotional vouchers or promo codes are subject to certain conditions, the fulfillment of which is a prerequisite for validity. For example: date, shopping cart value, item or combination. These vouchers can ONLY be redeemed online.

How do I redeem a voucher?

When you are in the shopping cart, you can redeem a voucher. You do this by entering the code in the field provided.

If your voucher is not recognized, it is either because the code was entered incorrectly or one of the provided conditions is not met.

How can I change an order?

Unfortunately, merging and exchanging orders or similar changes are not possible.

Our order process is fully automated and in order for us to continue to provide fast and reliable delivery service, it is not possible to interfere with this process.

How can I cancel an order?

Until the goods are shipped, you have the possibility to cancel your order.

To do so, contact us via info@der-schweighofer.at and also tell us your order number.

Do I have to provide my phone number?

No, you don't have to provide your phone number.

But of course, by providing it, you would help us to ensure faster and more reliable service. Your phone number will only be used for urgent inquiries and will NOT be given to third parties.

Can I change my address after placing my order?

Of course, we try to process your order as quickly as possible so your items will be with you soon. Unfortunately, we cannot change your address after we already have received your order.

How can I change my billing address when I place my order?

If your billing address is different from the shipping address or if you want to create a new address, you can do so in the "Complete order" step during check-out.

Click on ,,Change billing/shipping address". A window for the new address will now open.

Of course, you can also change your addresses at any time in your profile when you are logged in.

Why do I see an error message?

There may be technical problems in individual cases. Classic solutions for this are using a different browser or an incognito window.

However, if this does not help, please contact our support team via info@der-schweighofer.at .

Why can't I see all payment methods?

We reserve the right to limit the selection of payment methods in individual cases.

Can I choose between a partial or total delivery?

Unfortunately this is not possible.
For items with different delivery times, we will take a closer look at your order and then decide whether we can offer a free partial delivery or not.

Why is my order divided into several packages?

If your order consists only partially of items that can be delivered immediately, in some situations we decide to deliver the items in stock immediately and the rest later.

If you insist on a total delivery, you are welcome to let us know in the ordering process.
We offer partial delivery as a free service for our customers. This means that there are no additional delivery costs for you.

Click & Collect

Of course it is also possible to pick up products in stock free of charge within 48h at our store in Deutschlandsberg. As soon as your order is ready for collection, you will receive a message by mail.

On the article page you can see under ,,Check store availability" if the article is in stock at the store.

During the ordering process, please select "Pickup" as the delivery method.

What should I do if my desired item is not in stock?

All items with a shopping cart button can be ordered - regardless of the delivery date.

If your desired item is not in stock, you can set a reminder. As soon as the article is available again, you will receive an e-mail.

I received an incorrect item or an item is missing - What should I do?

If you received an incorrect/extra item, please return it to us. Note on the return form under the item ,,Reason" that you did not order this item.

If an item is missing from the delivery, the reason is most likely a partial delivery. In this case, the missing items are noted on the delivery bill and will be sent later.

My package is still not here - What can I do?

When your goods are shipped, you will always receive a tracking link by mail, which you can use to track the status of the delivery. If this does not work or you did not receive an email, please contact our service team via info@der-schweighofer.at!

Please also check your SPAM folder to see if the mail has landed there.

How much are the shipping costs?

The shipping costs vary depending on the country, the size of the item and the quantity ordered. The costs are always displayed in the shopping cart.

Basically we deliver to all countries in the world.

How long does the delivery take?

Within Austria the standard delivery takes about 1-3 business days. To Germany or Switzerland it is about 2 days more. Within Europe you have to expect 4-6 business days and outside the EU at least 6 days.

How can I track my delivery?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a link to track your package.

If you have not received such a mail, please check your SPAM folder as well. Also note that updating the link may take up to 24h.

Who is the contracting party (delivery)?

You will receive your goods from one of the following parcel service providers: GLS, DHL, Post

If your order or the item is too large for standard shipping, you may also receive the goods by freight forwarding or bulky goods.

What should I do if the package is delivered damaged?

Obvious damage to packaging/product due to shipping must be immediately noted to the package delivery company or refused acceptance. We cannot accept a later claim due to delivery damage.

Is my desired item in stock?

You can always see on the item page under the price whether the product is available or not. In addition to the stock status, you can also see the current delivery time.


How do I see if my desired item is also available in the store?

Through the field ,,Check store availability" on the item page you can always see if an item is in stock and available in the store Deutschlandsberg.

What do I have to consider when returning or exchanging an item?

Please report any return/complaint in writing via info@der-schweighofer.at.
In order to be able to grant your right of exchange or replacement, we ask you to pack the goods thoroughly.

What should I do if my item is defective?

Report your complaint to us in writing by sending an email to info@der-schweighofer.at with a detailed description of the defect as well as photos.

Only when we or the manufacturer decide that a repair is reasonable or possible, send the item back to us for treatment. This process helps to avoid an unnecessary shipment and therefore unnecessary shipping costs.

How long does it take to process the return?

As soon as your product arrives at our headquarter, we will inform you of its receipt and how to proceed. We always do our best to process your complaint as quickly as possible. Generally, you should expect about 1-3 weeks processing time.

Repairs that cannot be carried out at our premises will of course take more time. The processing time varies depending on the manufacturer, but is usually at least 2-4 weeks.

If you do not hear something within this time, please contact us by mail via info@der-schweighofer.at and we will take care of getting an updated status.

How or when do I get my money back?

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you will get back the full purchase amount, including shipping costs*, in the same way you paid for your order. We have 14 working days to do this, from the date we receive the goods.

If you wish to be refunded in a different way, please let us know in writing buchhaltung@der-schweighofer.at.

* with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a method of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us.

Who bears the costs for a return?

You yourself bear the direct costs of the return shipment.
